Van Flora was the brainchild of Keith Baker, who successfully ran Morgan Flowers in Western International market for 13 years. Keith, now Head of Marketing for Southern Glasshouse Produce (SGP) saw an opportunity for a quality Cash and Carry Flower Wholesale operation on the South Coast.

Havant was chosen as the best place for this operation, because of the good road links and the central location to enable a fast and efficient service to customers.

Van Flora has been trading very successfully for the past seven years and has earned an extremely good reputation for its excellent customer service, quality and competitive pricing. With a solid base of loyal customers Van Flora thrives on word of mouth recommendations with new enquiries on an almost daily basis.

Customers are encouraged to visit in person, initially when registering as a customer and at least once a month to enable them to appreciate the wide range of cut flowers, plants and sundries on offer. As there are always different products available according to season and new offerings on the sundry side it is difficult to keep abreast of everything without seeing it for yourself.

The General Manager, Helen Graham, has been with Van Flora for the past five years and specialises on the sundry side of the business while Andy Logan, the Sales Manager has been with Van Flora since it started and is the resident expert in cut flowers. His knowledge is second to none and he is happy to discuss particular requirements and advise customers on suitable purchases for special occasions.
